I completed a bespoke tailoring training course with Allan. It was a pleasure and an honour to work under someone so knowledgeable and dedicated. Allan was a very strict teacher, however this has nothing to do with his personality but more so the art of bespoke tailoring. There is no room for mistakes, precision is key. It takes years of experience and practice to get to Allan’s level. There is no one else in Calgary that can compete with his expertise.

I ordered wool fabric through Allan for a suit coat and vest I'm making for my partner and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Allan is incredibly knowledgeable about cloth and his passion for his craft is evident from the moment you meet him in his beautiful showroom in downtown mission. Allan had what felt like hundreds of high quality wool samples to look through in every weight and colour you can imagine. My fabric arrived within a week and everything was as smooth as silk. I can't recommend Allan enough. An incredibly lovely person and a incredibly talented tailor. I'm sure I'll be back to order more fabric in the future.

Allan is doubtless the most skilled tailor I’ve met in Canada. His house cut is elegant and refined and the work is second to none. He cut me a tweed sports jacket and I haven’t seen a garment fit that well in-person before. A great selection of fabrics from not-so-run-of-the-mill mills like Fox Brothers and Standeven. Clearly, a great craftsman continuing a tradition that’s hard to find here. Knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I look forward to making more commissions.
