My first time at Viva today and I was nervous as 8 months ago had a terrible experience at another salon. I would like to say that I am exuberant about my new hair cut and colour. Mike was a magician and absolutely fantastic. He made me feel like a million dollars today. Thank you so very much !!

Updated review: My mom has not been to a salon in 25 years!!! I took here today and typically I don’t leave her alone as she has an accent and she gets nervous so I stay to make sure she’s well taken care of but Brittany L was so sweet and kind to her and they were laughing and chatting so I stepped out to the Homesense and when I returned my mom looked so happy! Thank you so much Brittany for treating my mom so amazing! This is a before picture by the way! My mom always puts her hair in a bun so she put it up right after the cut and I want able to get a pic!

Asked Kathy for a butterfly cut and she delivered ! So happy with my cut! Thank you Kathy ! Loved chatting with her as well.

So I'm that person that has been box dying my hair black for over 20 years. I am a natural dirty ash blond or I was when I was 20 anyway. I love the black on me. It looks great however....3 months ago I decided to lighten it on my own thinking.....yup I can do it. I understand the chemistry ect. I fried my hair and lost many inches of hair. It got so bad that I have been wearing it in a rats nest bun for 2 months now and it's was a nasty orange color seven after my own many attempts to tone it or even darken it again. I finally decided to go to a professional atleast to cut of the dead weight knowing how terrifying it is for people with long hair. I walked in....told Noora what I had done as if it wasnt obvious lol. Anywho....she got right to it. Took off all the inches she needed to and even made time for a color correction which I was not expecting. I thought I may have to come back for that. She did a great job! The picture I am posting is on my office because I wanted to show it in natural light so that you may see she was able to take out all the brass and it looks and feels fantastic actually.

Went to Viva Hair today to fix a previous cut from another hair place and saw Mike and he did an amazing job I love it very happy with the service. Will definitely be coming back to them.

I had my hair done last week by a professional in this salon, my hair was in fact black I was completely honest with them, and how long I hadn’t dye my hair so naturally, my roots had grown out. The stylish beached it 3 times! And my hair was still different colours. Not at all what I asked for. Although she was very professional and kind, unfortunately I don’t think she had much experience in order to take my hair. Mike in the other hand was completely rude, unprofessional and dishonest. He told me that they where going to fix my hair in a second appointment at no cost the first time I was there, and when I came in for them to fix my hair, he completely changed mind and was completely rude when he said “we don’t do anything free here” take into account, that I paid $315 dollars the first time even though it was looking really bad, he made me pay on the second one $100 extra for them to fix THEIR error. I’m definitely not coming back, and I suggest you don’t either. I’m not really a person of making reviews but Mike’s treatment was incredibly wrong.

*** also he treated me like a liar, saying I didnt said I dyed my hair black, and that it’s was my fauth which the stylist confirmed I had told her.

Showed my first appointment hair, the inspiration and the colour I ended up getting, which was still not what I asked for, but I’m just happy it’s at least 1 colour? $425 after ?

Edit: As seen how he replied. Please don’t even look at my review only. Unfortunately I did not see the multiple bad reviews on the ethics of this person. Go to this place at your own risk!. 4th picture is in fact how my hair ended up and also the inspiration I had shown them.
