First time visiting any nail place in Calgary and I highly recommend this place for the best pedicure/manicure treatment.The ambience is inviting and comfortable. The staffs are friendly and professional. Hannah and Trish took their time caring for my hands and feet plus I got a good massage while at it. Above all the pricing is fair, they have a great promotion on going!

The place itself was nice and the staff were pleasant, but the polish application I received was very subpar. I’m not sure if it was the quality of the gel polish itself or the way it was applied but even after 3 layers it still looked uneven and lumpy. Every one of my nails was a different shape. The polish started to lift and peel within the week which was very disappointing. I loved that this salon was so close to home but I don’t think I’ll be back unfortunately.

I wanted to try this new place after seeing signs near my house. I booked an appointment on Mother’s Day because I decided last minute I wanted nice nails. I was very time limited and I was assured it would not take very long as they can do both my hands and feet at the same time. The deluxe pedicure had pleasant scents you can choose from. The down side was my toe was cut and it took forever for the bleeding to stop.. even after the paraffin wax my toe was still bleeding. My plans were delayed by over an hour which was extremely frustrating. It was also sore to walk for a few days.

As for the new set I got on my hands, I asked for a nude pink and a rounded square shape. I was completely shocked when he first asked me if the shape was good because it was nothing I expected and no where near good.. I asked to make it rounded and more straight in the middle because it looked curved. He tried to fix it a few times but it looked the same so I gave up and knew I would have to get it fixed elsewhere. The colour turned out to be completely clear. I picked a coloured power gel and they didn’t mention prior that if the gel wasn’t thick that it would be clear. Who wants thick gel nails? Especially on a short natural look. I was so disappointed after that experience and I did not want to go back and get it fixed by them. I stared at it for 6 days finally got it redone at my usual nail salon and the girl I normally see asked if they even filled it. The pink photo was when I got it redone and how it should’ve looked like the first time with the exact shape. The people that worked on me at Trendi nails seemed very inexperienced and it was huge waste of money and time. I wanted to give this place a try because it a few minutes closer to home but sadly will never be returning.
