I've been bald for almost 20 years, so I've had my fair share of experiences with barbers the world over, and although many of them did a very good job, no one has ever shaved my head to the degree and skill that the young man of Lebanese origin did with me yesterday afternoon. The time he took to look after not only my head but also my beard, despite my skull and jawline being extremely difficult to work with because of their inherent asymmetry, left me feeling very satisfied and allowed me to leave him a tip that exceeded my budget, which, from a moral perspective, was justified, as quality and craftsmanship should be rewarded.

I was also fortunate enough to be able to be seen without booking an appointment, and even though there were several gentlemen ahead of me, I did not have to wait too long. As a recent arrival to the downtown core, I now know where I will be going for a headshave from now on. Job well done!
