I had such a fantastic experience at Jenny House Salon today! I went in for a haircut and color, and from the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely cared for. I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted, but the stylist took the time to really look at my face shape and hair type, and gave me expert advice on what would suit me best. The result? A hairstyle that I absolutely love and feel confident in! Everyone there was not only professional but also so kind and funny, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I’m so happy I found this place — highly recommend it!

Absolutely love Jenny House Hair Salon. My family all get our hair done here. All the hairstylist provide amazing services (perms, hair cuts, hair styling, hair colouring). We’ve gotten all the services here. They are able to help us find colours and styles that compliment our face shapes and skin tones. Thank you so much for the great service. Michelle gave me a haircut today for a trim and layers. She was so kind and my hair looks amazing!

Everything about this salon is perfect. Their prices are very affordable and their services are high-quality. All of the staff are so friendly and hardworking as well. This is my second time at this salon and I’m certainly coming back again! This is truly the best salon in Metro Vancouver.

I had gone to Jenny House for years to get all my haircuts done. In the past, they had always been polite and any stylist would give great haircuts. In the last few years it has changed and I’m sharing two instances that pushed me to find another hair salon.

The first instance was where I came in just for a haircut. The haircut itself was great. When I was having my hair washed, I had one of my earrings fall out and on the floor. When I told them my earring fell out, we looked for it but after a few seconds couldn’t find it. Bro had the audacity to tell me that he saw I came in with one earring, and that my earring didn’t fall out. And he kept insisting he was certain on this even when I told him I felt it fall out during my hair wash - and we eventually found it under the chair. :/ I wasn’t super impressed with the gaslighting but based on the good experiences I had in the past I decided to forgive this instance.

My next appointment was worse. I came in with a picture for highlights and a haircut. Most of my hair ended up being bleached and was nothing like the photo. They did offer me to rebook and they would fix it, but honestly I was nervous because my hair was SO damaged from the first treatment - I had chunks of hair breaking just from brushing for a few days after. On top of that, the haircut was incredibly choppy - even nearly 10 months later I am still trying to grow out how uneven the cut was. I think I had a new stylist which is totally fine, I just wish they told me they couldn’t do the style I was asking for.

Worst experience I’ve ever had. I came here with great expectations through many reviews, but came out extremely disappointed and sad. I use to have long, even hair. I came out with the choppiest layers I’ve ever seen in my life. The stylist tried to hide it by curling my hair severely in the end. I cut my hair better than this. I paid 40 dollars for this disappointment. I showed her what I wanted in the last photo, but got exactly the opposite.
