Daughter’s first haircut at 2.5yrs, was expecting some fuss, resistance, maybe crying but nothing, daughter stayed still and Roxy did an amazing job with our daughter.
Added point, while it was a tad slow the other employees were cleaning up, washing things and wiping things down instead of just standing around.
Would definitely recommend

We have been taking our Grandson/son here for about a year. He is now three years old.

His first haircut, he was really fidgety... He kept turning his head ... He was unsure of the Clippers, etc. They were so knowledgeable on how to cut and handle him moving around. We were incredibly impressed. They were fast, and his haircut was perfect.
They interact with your child... They accommodate the child. They have a TV and put on their favourite program. He loves the cars they get to sit in.
My 11-year-old Grandson LOVES going there. They have a video game console he plays while getting his haircut. They speak to him and make him feel like he matters. They take his ideas/ feelings into consideration.

Naturally, they love picking a treat from the candy bar after their haircut.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hair Do Zoo.
We highly recommend it.

We saw Emily and she was great! My little one has a lot of energy and curly hair and we got an amazing haircut! I appreciated the advice on how to care for his hair going forward, the best brush to use and techniques to keep the curls healthy. The ladies had a lot of patience and were so kind.

We had such a wonderful experience for my son’s first haircut at a salon. He is 6 and has disabilities and haircuts have always been terrifying for him but Emily was so great and patient with him. Roxy was also so nice and helpful with giving snacks and toys? 1000/10

Finding a salon that caters to little ones can be a daunting task, but our experience at Hair Do Zoo was absolutely fantastic! As a mom who had been nervously trimming my daughter's bangs since she was a baby (Lloyd Christmas style mishap included!). I sighed and waited until it grew back. The rest of her hair was down her back, although we loved her having long princess hair... she wasn't old enough to take care of it. Food gets stuck in there from time to time - I knew it was time for a professional touch.

After her swim lessons were over, we decided to give her a makeover – shoulder-length hair with a touch of temporary color spray.

The hairdresser not only executed the cut and color beautifully but also ensured my daughter's first salon visit was a breeze. She was patient, gentle, and engaged with my little princess throughout the process. What impressed me the most was how she effortlessly braided my daughter's hair at the end, leaving her feeling like a true princess.

The salon itself was clean, welcoming, and clearly designed with children in mind, which made the experience even more enjoyable. They had plenty of distractions and treats to keep my daughter entertained while she got pampered.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with our visit to Hair Do Zoo. They turned what could have been a stressful time into a fun and memorable experience for both of us. I highly recommend this salon to any parent looking to treat their child to a special hair day!

We left with a certificate and a little keepsake of her first experience.
