Eve Cut Barbershop in downtown Calgary is a hidden gem! I had an amazing experience — the haircut was clean, sharp, and exactly what I asked for. Karim is a true professional: skilled, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

The service was excellent from start to finish. Karim made me feel at home, took his time, and really cared about the result. You don’t feel rushed like in many other places. The shop itself is super clean, modern, and has a warm, inviting vibe that makes the whole experience even better.

Highly recommended if you’re looking for a great haircut, great atmosphere, and top-tier service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I recently moved to East Village and was on the hunt for a new barber. I’m so glad I found EV Cut Barbershop and Karim, the shop owner! As his last customer of the day, I was blown away by his professionalism and care. Karim didn’t rush me out the door to head home; instead, he took extra time to ensure every detail was perfect and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I know Karim for a while now and he never let me down. I was happy to hear that he now opened his own barbershop, I went there yesterday and was impressed how the shop looks. The service was worth 10 stars, Softdrinks and coffee are included as well. I know his good service from the old shop he worked at already, but in his own shop he even topped this. Like I always tell him, I will go nowhere else, he is a hardworking enthusiastic guy, who knows what he is doing. If you want a quality cut, with top service and for a reasonable price, there is no one else to go, he is the best I know!
Thanks for all the cuts, talks and the fun we always have my friend.

Today I was looking for a barbershop in Calgary and I found EV Cut for the first time very randomly and just by the street flags but simply I can say Karim and his barbershop was one of my best experiences in Calgary as a new person.
I was so impressed by his professionalism and his respectful attitudes.
His business was well designed, very hygiene and so welcoming.
Although his service fees were so reasonable but when he realized that I’m homeless he offered me a discounted price to make it easier for me to pay.
I recommending this business for all Calgarians to try and enjoy his great services.

Karim’s chairside manner is excellent and his years of experience shine through his work. He’s up to date on current trends, listens to what you like and has great suggestions & execution for what you’re looking for.

We’ve all left barbershops before not entirely happy with cuts, or feeling like we weren’t listened to. This is not the case with Karim. He understood exactly what I wanted for a special occasion, went through several pictures of haircuts I’ve had previously and offered suggestions with excellent rationale. He keeps you engaged throughout the experience with his sharp wit, hilarious stories and a deep admiration for his craft and his loved ones.

The cherry to top this all off is his competitive pricing. I don’t typically leave Google reviews, but felt compelled to and will be sharing his info with my friends. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for an experienced and versatile barber.
