I have been going to Derma Spa Oak Bay for about a year now, and have always been extremely satisfied with the services received, so I was very excited to visit the new Uptown location as it is closer to home for me. The space is elegant, esthetically pleasing, calm, and conveniently located. Uptown is a busy mall area and finding a specific business can be challenging at times, but the instructions sent prior to the appointment made it a breeze to find the spa in the Uptown complex.

I have been seeing Nurse Jovana for botox, and decided to book a Beautification appointment this time (facial fillers). Jovana is the sweetest and kindest soul, and she will put you at ease and make you feel comfortable from the moment you meet her. She will work with your facial proportions and only use the amount of product needed to give you a natural, fresh and youthful look which is what I was looking to achieve!
She took her time and explained the process as we were going through the appointment. During the appointment, she let me know where she was going to inject next, and frequently checked in with me to ensure that I was comfortable and that everything felt right. Nurse Jovana is not only a skilled injector, she is also one of the nicest human beings that I have ever met, and she made this appointment the most enjoyable experience!
She also checked in with me the day after my appointment, and eased minor worries that I had. It has only been two days, but I am already so happy with the results and can't wait to see the final results once the product settles!

I’ve been seeing Kailey at Dermaspa Uptown and I can’t recommend her enough. She is such a lovely person who is kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly gentle in her approach. The clinic space itself is clean, chic, and welcoming, which adds to the whole experience. Kailey takes the time to explain every step, answer any questions, and ensures you feel comfortable throughout your treatment. I’ve seen significant changes in my complexion since starting treatments with her. My skin looks clearer, healthier, and more radiant. Her attention to detail and genuine care truly set her apart. If you’re looking for a medical aesthetician who combines expertise with a kind, calming presence, Kailey is your girl!

I cannot recommend Nurse Jovanna “NJ” highly enough! She is phenomenal at what she does. Having been to two other “doctors” who I assumed would have more experience, I now realize that they were not nearly as knowledgeable as NJ.

NJ is not only the sweetest and kindest human you’ll ever meet, she has also transformed my face over time with very natural results (my bf has no idea), and her injections are less painful then those I’ve experienced with others. She is truly an artist, understanding the art and science of facial aesthetics to perfection.

If you’re looking for someone who combines exceptional skill with a warm and caring personality, NJ is the one to see. her talent and gentle touch make every visit a pleasure.

I've been seeing Jovanna for many years now, and she has always been amazing! When I heard there was a new location at Uptown, I was eager to book in with her again. Unfortunately, my schedule didn’t line up, but Jovanna went out of her way to reach out and help me find a solution.
I sent her some photos of what I was hoping to achieve before my upcoming wedding, and she connected me with Alex. He was incredibly understanding, took the time to listen to my goals, and helped set realistic expectations for the look I wanted. I was then placed with Melissa—who I truly can’t rave enough about! She was gentle, thorough in her explanations, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the process.
I recently had a follow-up appointment and I’m absolutely loving the results! With my wedding coming up in July, it means so much to feel this confident. The entire team has been so accommodating, attentive, and really understood that I was going for a more subtle, natural look.

Jovanna, Melissa, and her crew are simply the best! I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend them to anyone looking for expert care and a personal touch! ? ? ? ?

Every time I head to DermaSpa for an appointment, I’m always blown away by the exceptional treatment! Everyone is always so kind and friendly and Jovanna really goes above and beyond for her clients; to opening doors, providing water and ice packs, she really is amazing!!
