Updated Feb 11, 2024 - as always my nails are absolutely beautiful! Very skilled and my nails last 2.5 -3 weeks, and still look flawless on day 19! I strongly recommend Dao and Crystal Nails. Can't wait to have my pedicure!

Was looking for a new nail place in Calgary and glad I found this one! Fantastic attention to detail: gently removed my old acrylics to save the length of my real nails underneath! Set me up with extra base coat and a gorgeous shellac colour on the rest to make sure my nails were strong. Even repaired my one nail I’d broken the day before with TAP to match the rest they saved! Additionally, LOVELY staff who were great to chat with :) will be back for sure!

I've been coming to Dao and her sister Anna for about 8 months now for my nails and I absolutely love the work they do! Dao makes sure that her products are up to date and the store is kept very clean, I've had her do my feet and my hands before both turning out fantastic. My most recent nails are done with dip powder gel and they feel great, super light and don't lift, and are nice to maintain with her :) Definitely recommend❤️

Got my nails done here and a pedicure. They took care of my nails as much as I do. Nice to not be forced to put tips on when my nails grow out. My nails after shellac were nice to see before a new set! Love it here.

Firstly Dao & Annie are lovely people. Unfortunately the execution of their fill and pedicure was not industry standard for me.

For my pedicure none of my cuticals were cut on any of my toes. Each toe was over painted on the skin and toe shaping was mismatched. She used the razor on my feet but did not use a scrub brush to even out the cut skin. They do not soak off or grind they use Amazon's Magic Shellac remover which is really bad for sensitive skin. I can still see the prior shellac color. The lotion and scrub mixer on my legs was applied after the pedicure was done.

For my nails I wanted a fill and French painted. Not once was I asked what kind of product I'd like. TAP product was used which is a hybrid gel aka poly gel. My nails are thick, lumpy and uneven. There was alot of over filing which caused irritation to my skin. The French tip was freehand but not consistent. Through the poly gel you can see the grind marks. I wanted stiletto shaped and have more of an akward almond look. The shellac quality came oit thick. The prices charged are higher than listed. I had my nails redone the following day else where.

For a fill and shellac pedi it was 126.00!!!! Unfortunately nail salons are a dime a dozen and I won't be back.
